0 Difference Between SOUNDWAVE | PITCH | TONE | NOISE

Difference between SOUND WAVE | PITCH | TONE and NOISE

Most of the sounds we hear are brought to our ears through the air. A moment of object causes a disturbance of the air molecules near the object so that the disturbance itself becomes a thing that moves through air, thus a SOUND WAVE.

When the sound wave is produced regularly

If the sound wave is produced regular, evenly spaced, so that we hear as “PITCH”. If the moment of disturbance is regular, fast and vibration, then the sound waves are also regular. We hear such regular sound waves as “TONES” that sound with particular “PITCH”.

What is "NOISE" then?

When we hear sound that are random, disorganized and lots of wavelengths. These are the kind of sound we call “NOISE(Lärm). In terms of science, noise refers to “CONTINUOUS SOUND(Geräusch).  When the continuous sounds are too loud and disorganized then they become noise.

Language has a lot in common with music. The purpose of language is the whole cosmos of human ideas and transmission of emotion by words and symbols.
